After years of research and customer feedback, the
dental plan that we recommend is the Anthem Blue Cross - Dental
Blue 100 Plus PPO.

This dental plan is one of the few individual and
family PPO dental plans that is available without having to
purchase a medical health plan to go plan with it. It can be purchased
"stand-alone."
We like the Dental Blue 100 Plus plan because it has
the most favorable waiting periods for a PPO. There is no waiting period
for "Minor Services" (fillings, deep cleanings, etc.). There
is only a 6-month waiting period for "Major Services" (root
canals, crowns, etc.)
It has one of the largest PPO dental networks
available to individuals (non-group). In fact the Dental Blue family
of plans has three networks, namely Dental Blue 100, Dental Blue 200 and
Dental Blue 300. IMPORTANT: You must find a dentist in the
Dental Blue 100 Plus Plan in order to get he "In-Network" benefits.
